    Dishonesty and Interpersonal Conflicts in Academia

    Project Abstract.

    Deviant and unethical behavior in academia has been a matter of great concern for the last few decades and has become a severe issue for education and business sectors. Mosley (2015) asserted that “progressive advancement within the academy depends less on credentials and knowledge and more on an informal web of contacts” (p. 171). Therefore, we propose a unique form of deviant behavior [……………..] in the academic world, that has an extending effect on both individuals within the institution and the institution itself.

    Foreign Workers Safety Behaviors: Evidence from the Construction Industry in Northern Cyprus

    Project Abstract.

    Workplace safety has been a topic of considerable interest to researchers, practitioners, and public policy advocates workplace safety as a tool to reduce the number of injuries and accidents. Utilizing Leck and Saunders (1992) safety lens of exit, voice, patience, compliance and neglect typology. This study examines foreign construction workers' responses to unsafe work in Northern Cyprus, the outcome will clarify what is known about safety perceptions in the industry.
